  1. No way! Back to Blighty eh? Wow, how are you feeling about being back in the land of long, grey cloud? I’m a big believer in going places without firm plans – it means you’ll be super-flexible and take on any opportunities that present themselves. Best of luck with it all. I’ll keep an eye out for future blogs and articles. Maybe drop us a line here if you decide to start writing at a new address?

    • Cheers Tom. We’d only planned to stay a year but it ended up being two and a half. Brazil does that to you eh? Unfortunately, there’s not enough to keep us here otherwise I’d love to stay. If things work out they way I want then I’ll be really happy back home…so fingers crossed.

Immensely happy for you that you’ve made a go of making a living from something you love. Really hope it works out for you! Hopefully, we’ll get that beer in Rio one day. Cheers!

      • Thanks Andy! Sounds like the next 6 months are going to be very interesting for both of us (in different ways and locations!). Definitely look me up if you’re coming through Rio any time – the ice cold Serra Maltes will be on me 🙂

  2. I’m also leaving Brazil on the 22nd of August and returning to the United States. I’m pretty much in the same boat. Best to you!

  3. The best of wishes to you! You have become a “friend”, so please keep posting. I’d love to know what’s going on, what you are thinking and hoping – if you are willing to share, that is.

  4. sad not to read the blog any more. good to have you back in UK though. see you shortly
